Kitchen FaucetsThose who love to cook would understand well about the dishes one needs to wash after cooking a scrumptious meal. Aside from the sink, one needs a good kitchen faucet to get the job done. And there are varieties of kitchen faucets to choose from.

Ideally, one should purchase the sink together with the faucet. But if you already have a sink in store, you should check how many holes it has. This would determine what kind of faucet you would need. If there is one hole, then you would need to buy a single-hole or centerset faucet. If there are three, then you would need to purchase a widespread faucet, which comes in three pieces – two handles and one spout.
The next thing to consider is the number of handles. A single-handled faucet has an advantage of allowing you to adjust water flow and temperature with just one hand. This is good if your other hand is preoccupied or is holding something. Two-handled kitchen faucets have two handles for controlling hot and cold water. It can be confusing at times but it would fit in a traditional kitchen.
Pull-out kitchen faucets are also handy and stylish at the same time. The faucet head may be pulled out and water patterns can be easily adjusted from normal flow to spray. This would make washing big pots a lot easier. Wall mount faucets don’t need a sink with a hole since they are directed mounted on the wall above the sink. It would look good in an antique-styled kitchen.
There are also pot filler kitchen faucets which are mounted on a wall close to a stove or on a countertop next to a stove. It is used to fill up a pot or pan already placed on a stove or countertop, with water. This would be very useful for people who love to cook.
Aside from the design, it is important to evaluate a faucet’s durability and safety features. Faucets should be drip-free and last long. For preparing meals and washing dishes would certainly be a lot easier as you have the right faucet in your kitchen.
